Is there a lock-in contract?
Plans are billed monthly and you can change plans as your business grows. Hardware rental terms are agreed when you order the devices.
What does "direct digital orders" mean?
Orders placed through your Eata-powered website, app or kiosk. The percentage on each plan applies to those orders only. Counter sales on the POS are not charged a platform percentage.
Are payment processing fees included?
No. Card payments are processed by Square under your own merchant account, and Square's processing fees apply on top of the plan.
Do I have to buy hardware from Eata?
No. The POS, kitchen display and menu screens run on standard Android devices and commercial displays. Renting or buying from Eata is the easiest way to get devices that are set up and supported, but it is optional.
Can I run more than one location?
Yes. Every plan supports a single location. Multi-location management, where one login runs every branch of your chain, is part of Eata One.
Do prices include GST?
No. All prices shown exclude GST.
